WHAT IS THE RACE FOR LIFE?  The Race For Life is an annual event held at every ABA sanctioned track in the nation to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  The Race For Life is open to anyone who would like to race - it is the only ABA event at which you do not need a membership to race.  Just start collecting your pledges to be turned in on the day of the event!   To truly understand the Race For Life, we invite you to read about the origin of the event.  Please read the Todd Kingsbury story.

INCENTIVES: Of course, the true reward is helping in the fight against blood related cancers, but to show support for your fundraising activities, here are the incentives associated with the Race for Life:

ABA Awards: In place of trophies, the ABA offers other rewards for levels of pledges or donations collected by each rider.  Depending on your level of fundraising, you can earn various awards from the ABA.

Whip City BMX Awards: To support our riders in their fundraising efforts for the Race for Life, Whip City BMX will award a "free ride" for the rest of the season at our track to the one rider who raises the highest amount of money from their pledges; in other words, this rider will not have to pay any non-national event registration fees for the rest of the season at Whip City BMX (valid only for races held at Whip City BMX, non transferable).  That's a value of over $200!!

Various Raffle prizes from our sponsors: Our sponsors have generously shown their support for the Race for Life by donating a number of prizes that will be raffled off!  Show your support to them by letting them know you appreciate their generosity!!
